The Château sleeps 17 in total, with seven double rooms and three single beds (suitable for children). There are five bathrooms, four of which are en suite. It has been renovated to be completely child-friendly. This includes planning the rooms so that the children’s area can be self-contained and children can be entertained on the top floor, giving adults the space to relax below.
During the summer season, the house is rented out on an exclusive basis, which makes it perfect for families or groups of friends who want to have the luxury experience of a lifetime.
The Château has seven different reception rooms – one for each moment of the day. This includes a bar, billiard room, gym, multimedia room, and many others. The interiors have been fully-renovated and furnished with period antiques and a Sonos sound-system has been installed throughout the ground floor, as well as around the pool area. The house is cool and comfortable inside even when outside temperatures exceed 30°C and features heating throughout, as well as a large fireplace in the dining room, for use during colder weather.
The Château grounds stretch over eight acres in total, half of which are child-friendly gardens that have been as authentically recreated as the interiors, featuring centuries-old trees and a historic moat. They include extensive formal landscaping in the form of French and Japanese gardens, as well as an English park.
As part of the renovation, a heated saltwater pool has been added to the grounds, as well as a seven-seater jacuzzi. To keep younger guests entertained, there is a playground with a slide, sandbox, zipline, swings, trampoline and tree house. Guests of all ages can enjoy boules and cycling (bikes provided), as well as tennis on the court next door.
